Thankful Thursday {with a splash of colour}

27 March 2014

Here's to plants that brighten up a home, to supportive families that stand by you through the hardest of times, to colourful soap suds in the car wash, to breakfast dates with my husband, to celebrations of birth and free gift vouchers, to three bedroom homes that fit seven living spaces, to a flexible work environment, to shopping days, to cold autumn days, to a colour coordinated bookshelf, to social mixed netball with my aunty and uncle, to camps that share God's love and to photos that hold memories. So blessed.

What have you been thankful for lately?

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of cupcake}

6 March 2014

Here's to grandparents that are one of the biggest support and encouragement in our lives and although we only see them occasionally they still mean the world to us, to breakfast time with Mr J, to cool weather that still allows the sunshine in, to productive study days, to spontaneous dates with my husband, to the first milestone in our marriage, to left over wedding cupcakes for morning tea, to a husband who can find all the positives in a day, to friends that say all the right things at the right time and to a new love for this show. What have you been thankful for lately?

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of pink}

27 February 2014

Here's to girl dates to change my nails pink and chat over a chai latte, for weekends full of friends and celebration, for hundreds of wedding photos ready to sort and places to print them for a bargain of a price, for pancakes for dinner and time spent with family, for welcoming communities and church services that make you feel like dancing. Gratitude turns everything into enough.

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of storybooks and celebration}

20 February 2014

Let's charge our glasses to storybooks that bring back memories and create excitement, for valentines day that motivated Mr J and I to try something different, for nights which we can spend with our amazing and supportive family, for cousins that have birthday celebrations where we get to eat cake, catch up on the latest happenings and learn a new game, for afternoons spent with close friends, for jobs that help keep our electricity running and stove top burning, for cooler temperatures that allow us to snuggle under the blankets and wear jumpers and for a marriage that has started off better than I had ever expected.

What are some things you have been thankful for lately?

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of wedding}

13 February 2014

I have two weeks of thankfulness to catch up on as this time last week Mr J and I were on our honeymoon. It feels like so much has happened over the last fourteen days.

Let's raise our glass to weddings that allow us to make a commitment to spend our lives with our best friend, to friends and family that traveled distances from 2km to 16,000km to help us celebrate our special day, to air conditioners that make heat waves bareable, to jewellers that make my rings shine as bright as the sun, to the most supportive loved ones ever, to honeymoons that allow you to do nothing but relax, to eggs that are suitable for any meal of the day, to the winter olympics that has only made me want to see snow even more, to artificial wedding bouquets that have added colour to our home and to Mr J being on holidays for another four days. and the list goes on.

Happy Valentines Day Eve!

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of cushion}

Here's to wedding planning that only leaves you more excited each day {two days and two hours to go}, to air conditioners that make it feel bliss inside when it is stinking hot outside, to boxes that sort my mess, to a supportive family and to cushions that make the couch that more comfortable! Cheers.

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of homemade art}

23 January 2014

Let's charge our glasses to homemade art that is a reminder that happiness is in the ones around us, to the relationship between toast and toasters that leave the house smelling yummy, to a new home for our television and dvd's, to days spent in my childhood home and to parents who always put a smile on my face, to catch up dates with beautiful friends, to moments spent in front of this great show and to a fiancĂ© who loves playing games as much as I do. Cheers!

What are some of the things you have been thankful for lately? Please share!

Thankful Thursday {with a dash of travelling}

16 January 2014

I charge my glass to the men in my life who find driving relaxing when I can find it a chore, to beautiful friends who get married, to six hours of travelling with my two best friends, to blogs such as this one, this one and this one that inspire me, to calendars that keep us on track, to streets that share the same name as me, to a fiancé who makes the best bacon, egg and cheese toasties and to countdowns that tell me I only have sixteen sleeps until our wedding! Cheers.
